New for this season, we have reproduced a version of John Lennon’s iconic US Army Olive Green Shirt.
Popular rumour has it that John Lennon was given this shirt by a passing US soldier whilst John was waiting for a flight in a German airport.
There are many contemporary photographs of John wearing this shirt during his anti-war “War is Over” period in New York, including the 1972 Madison Square Garden Concert, the Dick Cavett Show in 1971, and on the cover of John Lennon’s “Live in New York” album.
Features (including reproduction badges):
US Army Olive Green OG 107 Vietnam style reproduction shirt.
2nd Infantry Division Indian Head Shoulder Patch.
Imjin Scouts Korean DMZ badge.
Sergeant Chevron stripes on both arms.
US Army Tag.
REINHARDT Name Tag.
This is a legendary shirt for Beatles fans or anyone interested in pop culture, history and fashion. It’s also a great head turner and talking point…
